My old friend came to see me and he gave me cherries that he had grown. He said that he had taken care of very little but I think the taste was better than that of those sold at stores.
Seeds. What seeds?
Sunflower seeds, black beans, azuki beans. Try to grow them. I asked the children to grow them.
Very easy to make. Just put blueberry jam and strawberry on a biscuit, it is more delicious than I imagined! Children at the English class liked it so much.
We started to sell our snap peas at Michino-eki Towa. We cannot sell them much because there is not much amount of harvest and because I am lazy …. But it’s fun!
We eat them a lot at every meal. Just boiled and dipped in mayonnaise or some other sauce, they are sweet and crispy. Really yummy!
Vines are growing up to the sky, which is really beautiful.
Flowers are cute!
Pods are also cute. Peas are wonderful plants.
20days have passed since they planted sunflower seeds. They are growing vigorously.
Finally the season we can enjoy eating our strawberries has come!! Although hidden in the grass, they are plenty now. Our meals have become gorgeous!
We started to sell our rice at the Fukushima Towa Road Station. It is good to keep rice in a plastic bottle and suitable for a souvenir.
Last week we issued the newsletter for the first time and sent them to the members of the Local Beer Club. We haven’t started the brewery yet, but still there are people who want to be the member of the supporting club. We thank them a lot!
I made this for the first time and served it for people who came here. I loved the color and it was perfect for dessert.
I made scones for people who came to sow sunflower seeds last Sunday. It was my first time to try the recipe, and was quite successful. Olive oil and tea leaves are also in the scones, which seems to strange to mix but actually are in harmony. I will make them again!
